Commander's Invitation

Each month, our SAL Squadron 434 membership puts on an array of events from fundraisers to dinners and dances. We can truly boast that things are happening all the time at Post 434 and, in part, by our SAL Squadron efforts in support of our Legion Family. We invite you to stop by and check us out! If you are a son or grandson of a member who has served in our Nation's military, then we are here for you!

We'll see you at the Post!

Sons of the American Legion (SAL) Squadron 434

Welcome to
Sons of the American Legion (SAL) Squadron 434!

The Sons of The American Legion (SAL) was created in 1932 as an organization within the American Legion. The SAL is made up of men and boys of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the United States Armed Forces and became eligible for membership in the American Legion. Together, the members of the American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of the American Legion make up what is known as The Legion Family. All three organizations place high importance on preserving our American traditions and values, improving the quality of life of our nation's children, caring for veterans and their families, and perhaps most importantly, teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.

The SAL Squadron 434 members welcomes all to attend our meetings held on the 1st Tuesday of each Month at 5:30pm. We gather, operate, support, and socialize at the Chula Vista American Legion Post 434, 47 5th Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910. We celebrate our heritage and give back to the community and our area veterans! Come by and join us!
